I bought this dryer and matching washer because it got a high score on Consumer Reports. For the most part it works well. One super large load was a little damp at the end of a cycle but there may have been too many clothes in there at once. I also noticed some of the settings do not let you change the temperature or time. But Im still learning May have to read the instructions a little more intently Overall it is a nice machine with a large drum and it gets the job done

Salesmen Training needed

The salesman for your product stated that the gas connection was 1/2 inch FIP and recommended 1/2 inch flexible tubing that would fit directly onto the 1/2 inch FIP dryer connection.I purchased both. After a lot of visits to the hardware I finally discovered your gas connection was a 3/8 inch FIP and the flexible tubing was flared fitting not FIP.The dryer was delivered with 1/2 inch connections extra hardware. So I purchased 3/8 inch FIP to 3/8 and a 3/8 inch flared flexible tubing which was the connection in my home gas line. The store clearly states they will not connect copper tubing which is O.K. as most installers are young and incompetent anyway. The dryer had a high pitch chirp at first which I discovered was not your dryer but the flexible line tubing. Corrected by repositioning the dryer.

I did not want to give up my twenty-years-old Mayteg washer and drier but my husband was worried about these old gas appliances catching fire or dropping water all over our basement so he bought the LG washer and drier. At first I was upset but then I realized that they were easy to use had large capacity and they looked great. Also the drier had a problem and the LG company sent someone to fix it right away and it is now just wonderful.

Where to begin... my first problem with this dryer is the user manual which tells you everything except how to actually use the machine. My LG washer has a user manual that provides an exhaustive amount of information on each and every cycle the manual for this dryer contains virtually no useful information whatsoever. The operation section is two pages long adn tells you things like press power button load the dryer and my favorite press start. But it doesnt really matter if you press start or not because the dryer doesnt dry anything anyway Yes this is a dryer that does not dry. I havent had a single load of laundry come out fully dry from this machine yet despite the fact that according to the control panel which I dont know how to use because the USER MANUAL IS USELESS this machine apparently has a feature called sensor dry. I have news for you LG - your sensor does not work

I been every happy with this dryer since I bought it a couple months ago. No issues to report. Just remember to have sales person change to the two way opening door if you choose to. The other LG next to the one I wanted had a two way opening door. I mentioned it several times I wished it came with the two way door. The sales person failed to mention I could order it for the unit I wanted.

Settings are confusing doesnt always dry

We bought a few weeks ago. There are NO directions on settings you should use for towels permanent press etc. in the manual that comes with the dryer. In order to find the grid you have to download an app and search for it. Just an FYI. Its on page 31. Otherwise I am happy with the capacity of both the new dryer and washer.

Dries Well but Louder than Expected

Weve been using this a few weeks and had the technician out to adjust the installation thinking that was why it was loud. The technician assured us it was level but its still much louder than our previous dryer. Disappointing but already gave our other dryer away. This dryer along with the LG washer we have are an excellent combination. I dont believe that I would ever switch brands as we have had very good luck with both. I love the dryer. Has numerous usable features that are simple to understand. It drys very well and evenly. Its been 13 years since we have bought a new dryer and the technology has changed quite a bit for the better. Not sure what else to say other than this is an excellent dryer any way you look at it. The wifes happy so Im happy. Reliability is always at the top of my list and this dryer is reliable. Its quiet senses when to shut off the our clothes never have come out wrinkled

I hate this dryer

This dryer thinks its a Ferrari when all I needed was a Toyota. I cant figure what setting to use for towels. A comforter was still damp after 1 1/2 of drying. Not to include a manual with the item is a joke. I constantly have to log onto my computer to read the manual. I regret buying this machine.
