Having issues

I bought this unit at Walmart a couple months ago and it worked fine up until a couple days ago. It quit reading blue ray disc. I can play regular DVD discs. The message I get is check disc I have tried several different blue ray discs so no its isnt a disc issue. I have several different LG products and have never had any problems and appreciated the quality. As a former QC Manager I am disappointed in the quality of this unit. Any input on this problem would be appreciated.

I bought this TV to replace my PC monitor and Im really happy with it. I like the Android interface much more than the Roku one. It is easy to use and easy to read with my poor eyesight.

I really love the player just wish there were some buttons on front of it to play rewind pause etc. My granddaughters lost the remote a week after i bought it and it was useless until i bought another one on your website. Actually bought two one as a backup.....lol.

This thing haseverything. Maybe its because I was upgrading from a cheap DVD player but I cannot believe this had so many things built into it Netflix VUDU YouTube prime vid music and more. I was not expecting that so that alone sent me. Everything is really clear also. This is the best player I have ever had. I was going to keep my old DVD player but wound up replacing it with an extra LG. love it. Also set up was seamless. And fast.

I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion and with that being said I absolutely love my LG BPM36 blu-ray player I am not one for new technology as it gets confusing but this blu-ray player is super easy to navigate as well as set up The installation took 2 minutes as it just a power cord and an hdmi cable. Super easy And then since this has wifi it again was very easy to set up with my home network. I ran into no issues I love that this unit was slim and small so it fit right in with my tv and few other systems. I really enjoy playing all my old CDs and DVDs so this was a must have for me and so far I have not ran into a CD or DVD that it wont play And the best part was the sound All around this blu-ray player is the best

I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion and thats exactly what I will do This Blu-Ray DVD player is amazing I cannot stress enough how many Blu-Ray players I have purchased and tried before and they are nothing compared to this product. There is built in WiFi and access to everything anyone could ask for such as Netflix. The price was a deal. I will be purchasing another one for my childrens room as well. It is very easy to set up and use as well with given instructions. It look me maybe 15 minutes to set up with time to explore around.

When we changed our television provider my teenage son slip thru the window of his television/media/gaming switched at time of free installation. So with him spending so much time using his Xbox one and iPhone for entertainment I didnt realize my folly. Until he started spending more and more and more time do just that getting angry playing friends and chatting from his Xbox and iPhone and his world seemed to shrink. Pile the covid effects it seemed all he did was Xbox and whatever his does on his phone. I thought about it and asked myself what else is there for him to do? I thought no wonder he seems moody and detached. So I am very pleased that I got him the LG BLU RAY PLAYER BPM36. It is so much more than just a Blu Ray/DVD player and is not the same as what his Xbox one can do. Best thing very minimal necessary cables and he is able to interface it with his Xbox iPhone television PC and monitor Bose Bluetooth speaker use our streaming accounts internet hotspot and above all that the LG BLU RAY PLAYER BPM36 will play just about every disc formats. No more having to convert downloaded media files into certain formats before burning and my 2t Seagate with over 1500 movies plugs right into USB port. Great product great technology and a great fit for my familys needs now and future. I received a discount price in exchange for my honest review.

Easy to use blue Ray player with streaming

I recently received this LG Blue Ray player. I honestly have hesitated to replace my previous on as I had back luck with it. This one is pretty compact and lightweight which is perfect When I took it out of the box it was easy to set up which is perfect for me. I was most excited for it to have the WiFi built in most of our TVs are smart TVs except one. So being able to use one device for everything is great. I had no issues using the player and its functions. Picture quality was fantastic. The remote is pretty straight forward to use even my 6 year old was able to navigate the menu and use it without any confusion. The use on the LG AV remote app is also useful no more worrying about losing the remote The one thing I would recommend is making sure to pick up an HDMI cable when you purchase it as it does not come with one. I received this product at a discount price in exchange for my honest opinion.

Its very lightweight comes with a remote adapter and quick set-up guide. You need a HDMI cable to connect it to the tv which was not included. Set up was super fast and easy. I put in the front disc compartment of the dvd player a recent blu-Ray movie disc and the picture quality was vivid and crystal clear. It was very simple to connect self-explanatory and directions werent really needed. It looks extremely savvy but basic fits and is becoming with my 65-inch flat in my bedroom. The best part is THE SOUND. It sounds as if I am laying in an amplified theater I tell you. Its worth every bit of your money but doesnt take that much of it

We recently purchased the LG BPM36 Blu-ray player for our master bedroom. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion. We knew it would be a bare-bones model however it doesnt work too well beyond just being a standalone Blu-ray player. The unit lacks any USB ports that could be used for playing movies off of a USB thumb drive or hard drive. We didnt expect one but it would have been nice to include this. The unit does have wifi but there isnt any Ethernet port if you want a more reliable connection. All you get is an HDMI connection and built in WiFi. This is where the unit falls short. It takes a minute to load up any of the limited streaming apps Netflix Amazon Hulu or Youtube nothing else a little too long to load by modern standards. I found the video quality for streaming to be less than adequate. It would regularly drop down in quality to very low levels indicating issue with bandwidth even though we are right next to an access point. I also found the interface for turning on subtitles and navigating to be very slow and clunky. If you intend to use this for streaming I strongly advise getting a cheap dedicated device instead. As far as Blu-ray quality is concerned I dont have any complaints. The unit loaded movies quickly and menu navigation was responsive. Animation titles looked smooth and sharp and standard films played great as well. Bottom line--if you are looking for an inexpensive Blu-ray player this would be a good choice. If you are going to use the streaming feature you would be better off picking up a low cost streaming device to avoid disappointment.

I have been really impressed when using my new LG Blu-ray player. It had been a minute since I had a true player hooked up to my television and this one was a snap to get out of the box and plugged in. It set up easily and the picture was tremendous with my living room TV. The responsiveness of the blu-ray player was outstanding and I really liked how crisp the movie played through this LG model. Im looking forward to more great movie experiences with this BPM36 blu-ray player I received the product at a discount from LG in return for my honest opinion.

I never had a blu ray player and the price was right for me. After opening the package it was very easy to set up. I just had to connect the two wires and then connect it to wifi. It was simple and no issues finding the network. It has a basicand simple menu screen so everyone can figure it out. It streams well and plays the blu ray discs like it should. I have always been a fan of LG products and I am pretty happy with this one. It is very cost affordable and works well. It loads and plays Blu-Ray discs quickly. It doesnt support 4k but can play DVDs and CDs. The only output is by HDMI. The remote control is small and the buttons are small and closely spaced. It does not have audio outputs so the audio processing of CDs will have to be done by your receiver or other converter. It has WIFI ability so you do not need an attached Ethernet cord. This is nice to be able to access different streaming options. This LG player is small and lightweight making it easy to fit into any cabinet or stack on top of a receiver or another device. The unit is small and lightweight but the build quality seems adequate. I received the product at a discount price in exchange for my honest opinion.

I bought this Blu-Ray player to replace my old which just stopped working. I like all the features even though I dont use all of them as yet. The sound quality is much better than my previous player and enjoy the difference. I think this unit has a better design as well.

For the low price this Bluray player works pretty well. It does not support 4k it can also play DVDs and CDs but does not have audio outputs so the audio processing of CDs will have to be done by your receiver or other converter. I got this with the hope that its streaming capability would allow it to connect to my soundbar. It does not but its still a nice little media player. Its very simple to hook up only two wires and easy to connect to WiFi. It just works. The menu screen looks a little dated to me and the remote is nothing fancy and it needs to be pointed right at the player to work but like I said it works. It streams well and plays blu ray discs well so it does its job It will be nice to have a nice small simple blu ray to use here in the house. I did receive this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

My longtime dvd player finally stopped working after owning it for about 12 years. This is the first blu ray player that I have ever owned. I am not tech savvy. This device was very easy to set up. It only took a few minutes. It plays dvds very well. I stopped buying dvds years ago but I still have my collection of movies. I love the fact that it can connect to my wifi. I still own my cds that i have collected over the years but i no longer own a cd player and my current laptop doesnt have a disc drive so this device is very useful to have. It is compact and its easy to store. It only took me a few minutes. You can also insert usb flash drives so you can views photos and other files on your television. I mainly use it to stream content from platforms like youtube and netflix. The 1080p video quality is nice. Its especially noticeable when watching old movies and television shows. The only complaint I have is that it doesnt come with a hdmi cord. Luckily i had an extra one lying around. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest feedback
