This product functions as it should. What drops this down to 3 stars is the lack of a necessary to use the device HDMI cable. The box does mention the lack of optional Ethernet cable. However nowhere on the packaging does it suggest that the again necessary HDMI cable is not included.

With so many changes to network tv it has been difficult to enjoy some of my favorite shows during the time i am available to watch tv. So I started treating myself to blu rays and dvds of some of my favorite shows and movies. Just in time for my blu ray to quit on me. I found this LG blu ray player to be extremely easy to install and set up. In fact my smart tv did all the work with easy to follow prompts. And for my honest opinion i received a discount for the price i paid. Score

I bought this LG BPM26 Blu ray player about a month ago. It works way better then my old blu ray player. I never knew what I was missing. I love how easily it connects to my Netflix and Hulu its so convenient. I love how affordable it is. It gives the best picture and sound quality. It feels like Im in the movie theater just how clear the picture is and how high of sound quality it has. I highly recommend this LG blu ray player. I love how light weight it is but also how durable it is. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

Set up was super fast and easy The quality of the pictures and sound was amazing It does not include an HDMI but I have plenty so that wasnt an issue. I love the experience of watching a movie with this player I feel its much better than a standard DVD player and provides better quality than streaming. I love it

I am quite pleased with this blu ray player my main reason for buying it was to watch all our dvd/blu rays on which it does with great picture quality. We were replacing this with a regular dvd player so it does make a huge difference. They do have a few apps on it that you can also use if you want which is handy but we have a Roku for those so I dont care about that aspect of it as much. All in all it does what its made for and at a pretty high standard I would recommend it to others.

The LG blue-ray is great. The features I like are netflix. Its not so high tech but the option of having it is useful. The internet has to be connected and its only wired. No wireless. But overall its useful in the DVD department. I played only original DVDs and not bootleg. Not sure if it would play. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

I recently received my new LG player. Its sleek and light weight. I connected it to my TV. The setup was simple. Once connected to my wifi it asked me to update the software. Once done I was able to open Netflix and watch move.
The remote was basic with now new features.but it does the job. The blu-ray player was good and the function were working with no issues.
The only issue I see is the app installation is a bit slow with lag in opening apps.
For that price I think it is doing it good job.
Overall I recommend this player who are looking for a good standard blu-ray player with basic smart features.

I bought this blu ray player for my bedroom we dont watch tv in our room often but I wanted something we could watch our dvds in and especially our old home movies and this works great for that. Its nice to have a place to watch them now as we dont have a player anywhere else in the house. It was really easy to set up myself. It does have a few apps on it which is nice to stream from but Im surprised there werent more included especially these days having only 4 apps is kinda sad.

I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review. I know not everybody wants or has a smart TV and this is a great product for these people. This connects to WiFi and gives you access to streaming services so your tv can feel Smart- even if its not The picture is great and you can even use the USB port to upload photos that look great on the television. I connected this to the tv in our workout room since there is not a smart TV out there and my husband and I enjoy listening to the music app and accessing other workouts while in our home gym. Highly recommend

Unlike other similar products LG is truly a plug and go to the show machine. Set up was flawless and quick while easily making a transission easy. Remote was good to go right out of the box and adding premium streaming services a breeze. For a entry-level player at a affordable price you cant go wrong with this unit.

I like to say that my family and I enjoy this DVD it was easy to set up there is a music app which was free to use. You can also search for videos in YouTube watch on the internet using the small remote while connected to your wifi. Best yet is you dont need an expensive smart television to connect your new blue-ray player because works very well. I really liked the modern design it is compact it does not take up much space.
The price is very comfortable what more can you ask for I recommend it very well.

I received my LG blue-ray player last week at a discount for my honest review. Im blown away with all the options it offers. It is small so takes up practically no room. It has a place to connect your phone to add pictures and music right of your personal phone. The picture is gorgeous when watching either a blue-ray movie or using there already preinstalled apps. Easy access to it all. There is a music app which was absolutely free to use.you You can also search for videos to watch on the internet using the small remote while connected to your wifi. Best yet is you dont need an expensive smart television to connect your new blue-ray player to the tv. Im really enjoying learning more this little machine has to offer.

This Blu-ray Player is easy to set up It only took a few minutes and yes is a great value good picture quality smart features and even upscales DVDs. You can also insert usb flash drives so you can views photos and other files on your tv but you need to get a HDMI cable because this Blu-ray doesnt come with it. You can connect it to the wifi and use Netflix YouTube etc and everything works very well the remote control is easy to use overall my family and I are happy.

I absolutely love this blue ray player. It hooked up so easy to my samsung tv. Also hooked up to my wifi easy and was able to add all my streaminv services to it and start watching. I loved getting to watch all of my harry potter movies great quality and no skipping at all. I cant wait to purchase more blue ray movies to watch on it. Would recomend this to all my friends and family.
